Police Locate Elderly Rochester Woman’s Stolen Car and Purse
Rochester,MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police are investigating a criminal case involving an 87-year-old victim.
The woman works at the south Walmart store and discovered her purse had been stolen from the employee locker room Sunday afternoon. The purse contained her car keys and $800 in cash.
The woman returned to work Monday to discover her car was missing. It was located early Tuesday in front of a residence in the 300 block of 10th St SE.
Officers found the woman’s purse in the car. The car keys were in the purse, along with $500 in cash and some information that may be linked to a female suspect.
No arrests have been made yet but police are hopeful an arrest will be made.
