Tonight, August 1, is National Night Out in communities all over the country. Getting out in the community, I saw a few in the area that might be of interest.

In Spring Grove, festivities go on from 6-9 p.m. at the Fest Building.

In the Mabel area, your Community Night Out goes from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Steam Engine Park. Games, food, and music are a big part of all of these events.

If you are closer to where the KFIL studio is in Preston, from 5:30-9 tonight, Greenleafton Reformed Church will be having a great night of fun. Food, ice cream, music of Curt & Linda Gjere, Rad Zoo, bouncy houses, pony rides, Human Foosball, miniature horse and wagon train rides, all FREE! Your local police, fire department, ambulance and a whole lot more will be there for the festivities to hang out as well! Don't know what the plan is in your community? Ask your neighbor!
