The Minnesota Vikings announced this morning that they relived John DeFilippo of his duties as offensive coordinator, according to the team's Twitter account.

The change comes after the Vikings struggled to move the ball against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. The Vikings scored only 7 points last night, and have not topped 24 points since they beat the Jets 37-17 on October 21st.

Quarterbacks coach Kevin Stefanski will be elevated to Interim Offensive Coordinator and call the plays for the Vikings, who have three games left in their regular season. The Vikings take on the Miami Dolphins Sunday at U.S Bank Stadium.

This season, the Vikings offense ranks 17th in total yards and 20th in points per game. The squad sits in the sixth and final playoff spot in the NFC with a record of 6-6-1.
