Looking For A Fun Adventure? This Rochester Business Is For Sale
I've got the art skills of an aardvark - so this adventure isn't for me but if you love being creative and have thought about owning a business, there is a store that is now for sale in Rochester that might be perfect for you!
I've painted many ceramic projects at Color Me Mine in Rochester. My kids are usually
with me - that is why I'm really there - but I have spent 4 hours sitting at the same table with the same project working on every little dot and line for my dog's food bowl that I made him. I'm also on the mailing list to get all the coupons and deals possible, but the e-mail that I got yesterday was a different type of deal - the entire store is for sale in Rochester.
Here is what the e-mail said:
Dear Valued Customers, I am writing to inform you of some changes for Color Me Mine in MN. The current owner of the store in Maple Grove is expecting her 2nd baby and is ready to sell her studio. Because I live in the Twin Cities it would make sense for me to own Eagan and now possibly Maple Grove. With that being said owning 3 stores is more than I can handle. I am looking for a buyer who is interested in owning and operating the current studio in Rochester! We have great partnerships with both St. Marys and the Mayo for painting with long term inpatient children. We also work closely with the Ronald McDonald House and the Channel One food bank, being their largest sponsor for their yearly Empty Bowls event. We are a place known for hosting parties and creating gifts, along with the perfect every day creative outlet! Sales have increased over the past 4 years and it has come to enjoy a very good reputation in town! There is alot of potential for this store if it is purchased and run by a person who lives in the community.
