It's crazy to think that just two weeks ago the state was getting hit by a historic snowstorm too!

Weather can be weird around here. You either love it, or hate it, but we all have to deal with it... that's just being Minnesotan baby. Well brace yourselves, because everyone who was complaining how cold it is is going to get their wish because we're about to experience something we haven't felt since September 24 - our last 80-degree day! That day the mercury topped 89 degrees! We won't quite get that hot today, but I'm still glad I wore shorts to work.

If that's not surprising enough for you, according to the National Weather Service this month of April is going to go down as one of, if not THE coldest ever in Rochester with an average temperature of 33.5 degrees (see image to the left).

We've had it all the past 30 days: Snow, rain, thunder, lightning, sun, and now blistering wind... you just gotta hope May brings a little normalcy to our area. But then again, this is Minnesota!
