Much of America is still reeling after witnessing the horrific protests in Charlottesville over the weekend. I found it very surreal to watch real-life Nazis, the KKK, and other hate groups flaunt their idiotic beliefs so openly. It’s absolutely tragic that one woman died, and several people were injured so needlessly.

One reason why this was all so disturbing is because these scumbags came from all around the country, including Minnesota. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, it unfortunately appears that Minnesota has at least 10 active hate groups in the state. Gross.

Most of the hate groups are located in Minneapolis, and include organizations like the Klu Klux Klan, black separatists, Neo-Nazis, racist skinheads, extremist religious groups, and various others. I thought about listing each and every one of them, but I feel uncomfortable giving these groups any more attention than they deserve. You can check the Southern Poverty Law Center’s hate map if you want to know the specifics, but just know that these are groups of people who really, really suck.

This is all very disturbing stuff, but hopefully by putting a spotlight on this kind of hate, our country will be more likely to search for ways in which to extinguish it. In the meantime, be kind to your neighbors and fellow man, man. That’s the least we can do.

In the meantime, let's all enjoy this wonderful video of Indiana Jones messin' up some Nazis.

Ahhhhh, much better.
