It was an incredible atmosphere at U.S Bank Stadium on Championship Friday. Spring Grove and Caledonia both rolled to dominate victories and brought home the first two state championships of the Prep Bowl to Houston County.

If you were at the game, watched on TV or listened on the radio, you heard and saw some amazing plays. The Warriors had a couple of highlights in their 57-6 win, and the Lions might have had the play of the tournament in their 32-0 route.

Listen in on some of the calls from the day:

Luke Schneider might have made the play of the year with his leaping touchdown grab against Nevis, while Sam Barthel had three touchdowns against Pipestone, one of them were he leaped over the defender. Owen King showed his athleticism when he scrambled all over the field that set up a touchdown run of his own.

A big thanks to Heath Olson for helping us out at the State Tournament and Greg Carlson who was the running the studio. Also a big thanks to Carl Fruechte and Zach Hauser, as they were always available to help with pregame interviews and Coaches Corner throughout the season.

The Lions and Warriors were fantastic all season long, and they proved it as they both brought home State Championships!
