Hosting the Super Bowl is a big deal, right? It's the most-watched sports event in the world, after all, so yeah, it's a big deal. And not just for Minneapolis, either. Cities all over Minnesota have a case of Super Bowl Fever. Including this Minnesota police department.

Sure, we were all disappointed that our own Vikings weren't able to Bring It Home and appear in the Super Bowl right in our own stadium this year, but that doesn't mean we're not still excited about hosting the big game here at our shiny, new billion dollar U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Saint Paul Police Department is getting into the spirit of having Super Bowl LII right here in the Bold North. According to their Facebook page, the department, located just across the river from where the big game will be held next Sunday, produced special Super Bowl LII badges officers can wear to show their support for the big game.

How cool is that? As I've mentioned, my dad was a police officer for over 30 years back in Wisconsin. And, I'm guessing that had the Super Bowl ever been held there while he was working, he would have bought a badge like that had his department offered them.

I think St. Paul police already have some of the classiest badges in Minnesota, and only this makes them even cooler. I wonder how much a commemorative badge like that cost?
