Garth Brooks has hinted at a new live album before, but it sounds like it's officially underway.

The Advertiser reports that during a press conference over the weekend, the country superstar revealed that the first night of his Lafayette, La., run at the Cajundome was recorded for a live release. It's something he previously teased during one of his weekly Facebook chats, Inside Studio G.

“Get your singing voices ready, because it could be for forever,” Brooks shared via Facebook Live. “This will be a crazy two weekends, and I promise you will hear that weekend again and again and again, long after the weekend is over.”

Brooks didn't reveal whether the entire concert would be taped, or just a select song recorded — either way, his current world tour will surely make for a memorable album. He's released live albums before, including a two-disc set called Double Live in 1998, recorded during his 1996-1998 world tour. Double Live went 21 times platinum and remains the best-selling live album in any genre, ever.

Brooks has been breaking records on this tour, too, and he'll help christen a new venue in Atlanta soon as the very first performer to play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. He and wife Trisha Yearwood will bring their show to the area on Oct. 12.

“I’m thrilled to be back in Atlanta and honored to play the first concert in Mercedes-Benz Stadium,” Brooks says in a press release. “I’ve visited the stadium twice in the last month and all I can say is — the fans are going to love it; it’s truly one-of-a-kind. We’re going to create a special experience the fans will never forget and I can’t wait to light that place up this fall!"

Brooks is on year three of what he originally touted as a three-year tour.
