The Fillmore Central Falcons defense has been incredible this season, as they have allowed a mere 6.4 points per game this season, and have allowed double-digit points just twice.

Head Coach Chris Mensink has seen his squad battle it out each and every week, and with one week to go, Mensink can see that his defense has continued to get better.

In their past two games, the Falcons have allowed a combined zero points. It took a little bit, but the Falcons figured out the Wabasha-Kellogg offense and rolled from there. I chatted with Fillmore Central Falcons Head Coach Chris Mensink about their defense and how it is so good. Check it out below:

Yeah, you read that right. The Falcons are coming off of back-to-back shutouts and will look to continue that in a matchup against Winona Cotter on Wednesday night. The Falcons are in a stacked section, with Goodhue, Blooming Prairie and Rushford-Peterson all in the way of the Falcons.

They lead the section in defense, allowing just 6.4 points per game, and the Falcons will look to their leaders on defense for another run at the Section Title game.
