In honor of National Hot Dog Day on Wednesday, July 19, the Rochester North Hy-Vee is hosting a Pet Party at the store, located at 500 37th Street NW. The party begins at 5 p.m. where attendants and their furry friends can enjoy a picnic and participate in a host of pet-friendly activities. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for purchase, with a portion of the food sales benefiting the Wallace the Pit Bull Foundation.

 

In addition to the picnic, there will be a pet parade beginning at 6 p.m., where Roo Yori - K9 Ninja and Rochester native - will serve as the celebrity judge. Safe Haven Pet Rescue and the Paws & Claws Humane Society will have pets available for adoption and Paws Abilities Dog Training, BACB Unleashed and Camp Companion will be on hand for the evening.
