Undated (KROC AM News) РMore heavy rain fell across southeast Minnesota Tuesday with 1-2 inches reported in parts of Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona counties.

Some of those areas were drenched 24 hours earlier and this led to another round of flash flooding. More rain is expected into Wednesday night with another inch or more possible in the Rochester area.

A tornado slammed a mobile home park in western Wisconsin Tuesday, killing one person and causing widespread damage. According to the National Weather Service, a thunderstorm developed over Polk County around 4:30 p.m. and moved east through Barron and Rusk counties.

Initial reports of damage from a tornado were received around 5:30 p.m. in  the small town of Chetek, 40 miles north of Eau Claire. One person was killed and at least 20 others were injured when the twister struck the mobile home park. Initial reports indicate at least 50 of the homes were damaged. The Weather Service will send damage survey teams to the area Wednesday to confirm the strength of the tornado.

The Weather Service says the twister that struck Winneshiek County in northeast Iowa Monday was a weak EF 0 tornado with peak winds of 70 miles per hour. It was 50 yards wide and was on the ground for about a mile, causing mostly tree damage.
