Some of those areas were drenched 24 hours earlier and this led to another round of flash flooding. More rain is expected into Wednesday night with another inch or more possible in the Rochester area.

A tornado slammed a mobile home park in western Wisconsin Tuesday, killing one person and causing widespread damage. According to the National Weather Service, a thunderstorm developed over Polk County around 4:30 p.m. and moved east through Barron and Rusk counties.

Initial reports of damage from a tornado were received around 5:30 p.m. in  the small town of Chetek, 40 miles north of Eau Claire.
