Caledonia, MN (KROC-AM News) - A police pursuit that began early today in far northeastern Iowa ended in a crash in far southeastern Minnesota.

The State Patrol says a man from Nashville, Tennessee lost control of the car he was driving and crashed into a ditch before smashing into a railroad bridge along Highway 26 near La Crescent. The report indicates 29-year-old Blair Wilson was about 20 miles into Minnesota when the crash occurred around 2:20 AM. Wilson was transported to a La Crosse hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The chase began a short time earlier in Lansing, Iowa. The State Patrol report does not provide any information about what prompted the pursuit.
