Sawyer Brown co-founder Gregg Hubbard was born October 4, 1960 in Orlando, Florida.  The five-man group, Sawyer Brown appeared on Star Search back in the 1980's and went on to have several #1 hits including "Step That Step" and "Some Girls Do".
Trick Pony singer, Heidi Newfield, was born in 1970 in Heraldsburg, California.  After Trick Pony, Heidi had a solo career and had a big hit in 2008 with "Johnny and June".
"Blue Eyes Crying In The  Rain" earned Willie Nelson his very first #1 single on the Billboard chart in 1975.
In 2001, the Country Music Hall of Fame inducted twelve new members including The Everly Brothers, Don Gibson, Homer and Jethro, and Waylon Jennings.
And in 2008, Dierks and Cassidy Bentley welcomed their daughter Evalyn Day Bentley who was born in Nashville.
