Country Music History October 21

Happy Friday!

Not a lot to report but here goes!  In 1997, game 3 of the World Series is played in Cleveland.  Florida Marlins beat the Indians 14-11.  Reba McEntire sang the national anthem pre-game.

In 2009, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Country Music Hall of Fame inductees in 2012 include Garth Brooks and Connie Smith.  There you have it!
