Wednesday already!  Back in 1962, Roy Acuff was the first person inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Poor Willie.  In 1990, the IRS seized property of Willie Nelson in six states including a recording studio he owned in Austin, Texas, in an effort to satisfy a 6.5 million dollar debt.

In 2008 the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville added Randy Travis, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Martina McBride and Trace Adkins.

And in 2001 The Band Perry hit it big at the CMA Awards, walking away with New Artist of the Year, and Single of the Year and Song of the Year for "If I Die Young".
