Country Music History November 30

We end November with a sad bit of country music trivia.  Singer of "Ten Thousand Angels", Mindy McCready was born November 30, 1975 in Fort Myers, Florida.  In the late 1990's, Mindy had a big hit with "Guys Do It All The Time".  Sadly, Mindy's life ended tragically when she committed suicide in 2013.

The great Glen Campbell gave his final concert performance at the Uptown Theatre in Napa, California in 2012.  He performed many of his hits including "Wichita Lineman", "Southern Nights" and "Gentle On My Mind".  Now 80 years of age, Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2011.
