Country Music History November 19

People are crazy  - how  many  times have you said that?  I know I have hundreds of  times!  Billy Currington said it in a hit song!  Today is Billy's birthday, born November 19, 1973 in Savannah, Georgia.  Billy made a name for himself on the country music scene first in 2003 with "Walk A Little Straighter" and went on to record such hits as "That's How Country Boys Roll" and the aforementioned "People Are Crazy".  Happy birthday, Billy!

Be careful on ladders, folks!  In 2006, singer Buddy Jewell was decorating his home with Christmas lights when he fell off the ladder breaking his wrist.  The injury forced Buddy to cancel his performance in a holiday concert tour.
