In 2012, Martina McBride sang the national anthem before the start of Indianapolis 500.  The winner?  Dario Franchitti won for the third time in his career.

"Why" by Jason Aldean is #1 on the Billboard country singles chart in2006, and in 1995 it was Ty Herndon and "What Mattered Most".

Country Music Hall of Fame member, Don Williams, was born May 27, 1939 in Floydada, Texas.  His hits include "Tulsa Time" and "You're My Best Friend".
