2013  Season 16 of "Dancing With The Stars" was won b y Kellie Pickler and her partner.

2008   "Don't Think I Don't Think About It", Darius Rucker's first country single, was released by Capitol to radio.

1998  "No Fences" by Garth Brooks became the first country album certified for shipment of 14 million copies.  Pretty impressive.

1977 "Luckenbach, Texas (Back To The Basics of Love)" by Waylon Jennings with special guest appearance by Willie Nelson, reached #1 on the Billboard charts.
