Country Music History March 27
I was going to skip the history lesson for today because I just came into work after enjoying a relaxing morning off, but there are a lot of great songs to mention, so here goes!
1965 "King of the Road" by Roger Miller hit #1 on the country Billboard chart.
1999 Kenny Chesney and "How Forever Feels" reached number one on the Billboard country chart and stayed there for six weeks!
2002 Shania Twain's "Come On Over" album shipped 19 million units.
And in 2013, "Mama's Broken Heart" by Miranda Lambert is certified gold.
