Good Tuesday morning!  Here's what's in the record books for country music history for today's date.

1958   Elvis Presley is sworn into the U.S. Army

1979  "I Just Fall In Love Again" by Anne Murray reached #1 on the Billboard country singles chart.

1984   Alabama's "Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler)" topped the Billboard country singles chart.

And in 2007, Carrie Underwood performed "Before He Cheats" and "Wasted" on NBC's "Saturday Night Live"
