Happy birthday to Neal McCoy!  "Wink" singer, Neal was born in 1958 in Jacksonville, Texas.

Rodney Atkins received his diploma from Tennessee Tech in 2007.  This was fourteen years after he discontinued classes.  School staff realized that Rodney had actually taken enough credit hours to receive his degree.

And in 1955, "Folsom Prison Blues" was recorded by Johnny Cash at Sun Recording Studio in Memphis.
