Country artist, Sammy Kershaw, best known for "She Don't Know She's Beautiful", was born today in 1958 in Kaplan, Louisiana.

"9 to 5" recorded by Dolly Parton won Best Country Song and Best Country Vocal Performance, Female Grammys in 1982.

In 1984, "Star Search" winners Sawyer Brown won $100,000.

And in 1993, "I Still  Believe In You" by Vince Gill won two Grammys - Best Country Vocal Performance, Male, and Best Country Song.
