Happy birthday to Sheryl Crow!  Sheryl was born in 1962 in Kennett, Missouri.  She had a huge hit with Kid Rock "Picture" which leaped not only on the country charts but rock charts as well.  Now, that's talent.

In 1967, "Don't Come Home A Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind)" becomes Loretta Lynn's first #1 Billboard single.

Another birthday today is that of Jon Jones who was born in 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska.  Jon, a very talented bass player, was a founding member of the Eli Young Band who burst onto the country scene in 2001 with "Crazy Girl".
