Happy Friday, friends!
I love the song "Girls Lie Too", because yes, sometimes we do!  The singer, Terri Clark, was born August 5, 1968 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  Terri also had hits with "Better Things To Do" and "Poor Poor Pitiful Me".

Country Music Hall of Fame member Bobby Braddock was born in 1940 in Auburndale, Florida.  He penned such great songs as "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and "I Wanna Talk About Me".

The Billboard country singles chart reveals that in 1957 the number one song was Elvis Presley with "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear".  Alan Jackson was #1 in 1995 with "I Don't Even Know Your Name".

And in 2010, a group of eighteen investors purchased the Texas Rangers baseball team for 593 million dollars at auction.  One of the investors was Charley Pride.
