Diamond Rio keyboard player, Dan Truman, was born inn 1956 in St. George, Utah.

Alabama and Glen Campbell were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005.  In 1996, Billy Ray Cyrus sang the national anthem and Emmylou Harris sang "Abraham, Martin and John" at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.  Bill Clinton was nominated for re-election.
