Waylon Jennings got himself in a bit of trouble this day in history.  In 1977, Jennings and his secretary were arrested on charges of conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine.  The incident lead to Jennings writing his song "Don't You Think This Outlaw Bit's Done Got Out Of Hand".  Great stories and songs come from life experiences sometimes.

And in 1985, the #1 song on the Billboard country singles chart was "Real Love" by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.
