I have to admit, I've never heard this song.  "Nobody In His Right Mind Would've Left Her" by George Strait was #1 on the Billboard country singles chart in 1986.  In 2003 the top of the chart revealed Brooks & Dunn with "Red Dirt  Road".

The "Cars" soundtrack was certified gold in 2006.  Probably the most notable song from the movie is Rascal Flatts "Life Is A Highway".  The soundtrack also featured music by Hank Williams, James Taylor, Chuck Berry and Brad Paisley.

Country Music Hall of Fame member, song writer Hank Cochran was born August 2, 1935 in Isola, Mississippi.  His writing credits include "I Fall To Pieces", "Ocean Front Property" and "Make The World Go Away".
