The Caledonia Warriors have proven that they are the real deal after a 58-16 victory over the Lakeview Lakers in the state quarterfinals.

The Warriors were successful both through the air and on the ground, and even earned two safeties in the first half.

The Warriors are now set to battle the Barnesville Trojans this morning, who sit with a record of 11-0. It will be a battle of the undefeated teams, as Caledonia sits with a 12-0 record.

The Trojans had an impressive showing in the quarterfinals as well, as they knocked off Pillager 42-14. The Warriors will have their hands full on Friday morning, but they are up to the test.

The Warriors are going for back back-to-back state championships, and have proven they are are the real deal. Caledonia averages 45.1 points per game, second best in Class AA and allows 10.2 points per game, which is the best in class in Class AA in Minnesota. The Tigers average 42.3 points per game, the best in Class AA and allow 16, which ranks near the top.

Caledonia vs. Barnesville will kick off at at about 11:30 a.m. at U.S Bank Stadium, but it all depends on how long the first game of the day takes, which is Grand Meadow vs. Waubun.
