Luke made his list of top Christmas movies earlier, so I suppose I should let you know my top Christmas specials.

These Christmas specials air every year on broadcast TV, so you just need an antenna.

#4 How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I’m young enough to remember going to see Jim Carrey as the Grinch in theaters, but I’m more talking about the animated version. The Grinch had spent his whole life hating the holiday and wanted to stop the day from coming at all! Everyone at Who-ville didn’t care that they didn’t get presents, and that really tugged at the ol’ heartstrings of the Grinch and everyone involved. The Grinch changed his mind and his heart grew a few sizes and it was a Merry Christmas for everyone!

#3: Frosty the Snowman

This one is on TV every year but I think we have a VHS tape if I wanted to watch it throughout the year. Christmas magic comes through for all the children who gain a friend and Santa really comes through for everyone for Frosty so he can come back on Christmas Day.

You know you want to sing along.

#2: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph was born a little different looking, he wasn’t allowed to take part in Reindeer Games, and is ridiculed out of the North Pole. He joins Hermey, an elf that wants to be a dentist and then meets up with Yukon Cornelius and misfit toys. Everyone starts to feel bad about how they treated Rudolph. Rudolph is later accepted and saves Christmas.

#1: A Charlie Brown Christmas

Good old Charlie Brown can’t do anything right from what other people can see. He sees the beauty in a little tree for the Christmas program. Everyone laughs at him and he is very frustrated at a time that should be of great joy. Charlie Brown asked what Christmas is all about. Linus tells everyone why we celebrate.
