Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Another potent winter storm appears to have put southeastern Minnesota in its bullseye.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a large area of southern Minnesota from 4 pm Sunday through 7 pm on Monday. Although the exact track of the storm remains uncertain, forecasters have indicated southeastern Minnesota appears to have the highest likelihood of seeing the heaviest snowfall totals.

The latest models suggest the region could end up with 6 to 8 inches of snow by the time the weather system moves off to the east Monday evening, with the heaviest snow occurring Sunday night and into Monday morning.
