The Caledonia Warriors did not lose a match in Three Rivers Conference play this season, they cruised to a 3-0 sweep over Rushford-Peterson Tuesday night.

The Warriors took set one 25-18, set two 25-15 and set three 25-13.

Caledonia got a big performance from Sophomore Lydia Lange, who played great at the Middle Hitter position. She was all over the place defensively and put great swings on the ball offensively. The Warriors got great play from Madisyn Heaney and Isabel Allen as well.

Tied at 3, the Warriors went on a big 5-0 run, and then held a 19-9 lead in set one to help them win set one. In set two, the Trojans led early, and a big reason for that was Kensay Clobes who put great swings on the ball in her own right, especially from the back row, and helped Rushford-Peterson lead 12-8.

The Warriors did not let the lead last long, as Lange went to work and helped bring the team back to a 13-13 tie. The Warriors got some great serving late in the set, to finish it out on a 12-2 run to go up 2-0.

In set three, it was all Warriors and Heaney, who played phenomenal in the final set in the 25-13 win for the 3-0 sweep.

The Trojans got some great play from Nicole Blagsvedt who put up three solo blocks at the net, while Lauren Lawtson led the team in kills.

The Warriors were able to edge the Trojans and a big reason for that was serving. Caledonia's serves were in great positions and made it extremely difficult for the Trojans to execute their passes and ultimately their offense. Peyton Hoiness had a tough time tracking down many different passes, but did a great job of it setting up her teammates.

Ultimately, it was the Warriors who came away with a sweep.
